Description

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow reports
• Monitor actual results against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis
• Maintain a thorough understanding of local tax laws, advising management on any changes and their financial implications
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data
• Oversee inventory accounting processes, ensuring accuracy in inventory valuation and reporting.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly and resolve any discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications are preferred
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the agriculture or related industries
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Fluency in English and Lao is required
