IT Security Specialist at an International ICT Solution Company in Vientiane

• To collaborate with customers to present and demonstrate our solutions while partnering with channel partners to implement go-to-market strategies

The Role

• Oversees the ongoing development, implementation, and revision of security and privacy policies, standards, guidelines, baselines, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards information systems
• Working closely with management and the IT department to enhance security measures
• Support IT managers and staff during audits while coordinating management responses and remediation efforts. Proactively ensure IT compliance with regulatory requirements through strategic planning, clear communication, accountability, and strong stakeholder relationships
• Keep current with the latest IT trends and security standards
• Oversee computer networks to identify and address potential security threats
• Proactively identify potential opportunities by leveraging advanced competitive knowledge, technical expertise, and building credibility with clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited University
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role with strong proficiency in managing IT service requests
• A up-to-date understanding of IT security hardware, software, and vendor solutions
• Good presentation skill, problem-solving ability
• Good influencing and negotiation skills
